We are looking for a seasoned expert in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This role may be remote, onsite, or hybrid depending on the candidate and business needs. This role is for someone who has deep hands-on experience working in Business Central and can help our company use the system correctly, efficiently, and strategically. 


What You Will Do

  • Own, hands-on configure, and improve Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central system for a production environment
  • Work with accounting, operations, purchasing, inventory, and sales teams to improve Business Central processes
  • Troubleshoot Business Central issues and identify root causes
  • Help manage workflows, permissions, reporting, integrations, and system setup
  • Recommend best practices based on strong Business Central experience
  • Assist with data, reporting, process improvements, and user training
  • Work with outside consultants or developers when customization or technical support is needed

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, dependable, and enthusiastic in supporting multiple functions and divisions:

  • Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in a production environment
  • Deep understanding of Business Central functionality, setup, modules, and best practices
  • Experience supporting users and solving real business problems inside Business Central
  • Knowledge of finance/accounting processes within Business Central
  • Knowledge of and ability to explain posting groups, inventory setup and financial process flow in Business Central
  • Experience with Business Central manufacturing functionality (production orders, routing, BOMs, etc.) is a plus
  • Experience with inventory, purchasing, sales, warehousing, jobs, manufacturing, or service management is a plus
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of Business Central-related issues 
  • Prior Business Central implementation, migration, or optimization experience preferred 
  • Experience with Dynamics NAV/Navision is a plus
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Excel reporting, or integrations is a plus
  • Experience working with Microsoft partners, consultants, or developers is a plus
