Kentro is seeking a remote Senior Integration Engineer to support our growing Endpoint Engineering organization, supporting enterprise endpoint operations within a large-scale federal environment. This role focuses on enterprise application packaging, endpoint integration, deployment engineering, and operational modernization across a complex endpoint ecosystem supporting Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.

The ideal candidate brings advanced experience supporting enterprise endpoint management operations and understands how application integration, device baselines, deployment orchestration, and endpoint lifecycle management intersect across large-scale enterprise environments. This individual should be comfortable operating in a fast-paced engineering organization that supports evolving operational priorities, modernization initiatives, and enterprise transformation efforts.

Location: This position can be performed remotely within the United States and will support Eastern Time working hours.

Responsibilities
  • Lead application packaging, testing, and deployment activities to ensure compatibility across enterprise endpoint environments.
  • Support application modernization initiatives, including conversion of legacy deployment formats to modern enterprise deployment technologies such as MSIX and other endpoint deployment methodologies.
  • Partner with Endpoint Engineering teams to align application requirements with device baselines, configuration standards, endpoint security requirements, and lifecycle management processes.
  • Design, configure, and maintain Windows Autopilot deployment profiles and zero-touch provisioning workflows integrated with Microsoft Intune and Azure AD.
  • Support and maintain co-management configurations between MECM/SCCM and Microsoft Intune, including workload transition planning, policy management, and cloud-native endpoint modernization efforts.
  • Support release planning activities and deployment readiness efforts for new and updated enterprise applications.
  • Serve as an escalation resource for complex endpoint, deployment, and integration-related issues requiring advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and platform-level diagnostics leveraging logs, telemetry, endpoint analytics, and engineering troubleshooting tools.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to validate application compatibility, deployment sequencing, endpoint performance requirements, and operational readiness activities.
  • Support ongoing endpoint modernization initiatives and operational engineering activities across Windows, macOS, and mobile device environments.
  • Participate in operational touchpoints, deployment coordination efforts, engineering working sessions, and technical collaboration forums as required.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives focused on deployment consistency, operational efficiency, endpoint stability, and engineering standardization.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience supporting Endpoint Engineering, Endpoint Management, Enterprise Integration Engineering, or Enterprise IT Operations environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent. An additional 8 years of experience can be substituted for the degree requirement for a total of 18+ years of experience. 
  • Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing enterprise endpoint environments utilizing Microsoft Intune and MECM/SCCM, including compliance policies, configuration profiles, security baselines, application lifecycle management, deployment orchestration, and endpoint modernization initiatives.
  • Strong experience supporting enterprise application packaging, deployment, testing, and integration activities within large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Experience supporting modern endpoint management and deployment technologies, including Windows Autopilot, co-management, and cloud-based endpoint management solutions.
  • Proficiency with PowerShell scripting for deployment automation, endpoint configuration management, compliance remediation, and operational engineering support.
  • Working knowledge of endpoint lifecycle management, device configuration standards, deployment methodologies, and enterprise operational engineering practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem solving skills with the ability to support advanced engineering and operational sustainment activities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across technical teams, operational stakeholders, and cross-functional engineering organizations.
  • Experience supporting structured operational processes within enterprise IT organizations and Agile or Scrum-based delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting large-scale federal government or enterprise IT environments.
  • Experience supporting Windows, macOS, and mobile device ecosystems within complex enterprise organizations.
  • Familiarity with endpoint security, compliance frameworks, and enterprise device management best practices.
  • Experience supporting enterprise deployment automation, endpoint analytics, or operational reporting initiatives.
  • Industry certifications such as Microsoft, JAMF, CompTIA Security+, or related endpoint engineering certifications are preferred.
