Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while maintaining a flexible work-life balance. The position typically requires work hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening commitments depending on client needs. Our telehealth platform facilitates direct, accessible communication with clients, providing a convenient setting for therapy sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use issues, identifying co-occurring disorders and their impacts on individual functioning.
• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices aimed at addressing their comprehensive care needs.
• Administer both individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to develop vital coping skills, devise relapse prevention strategies, and improve emotional regulation.
• Engage in collaborative case management with a multidisciplinary team, which may include psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, ensuring an integrated approach to patient care.
• Monitor clients' substance use and recovery progress through regular check-ins and utilize motivational interviewing techniques to inspire commitment and engagement.
• Educate clients and their families regarding the intricate relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the crucial role of treatment adherence.
• Keep thorough and timely documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and referrals, adhering to both ethical and legal standards.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and case conferences to stay current with best practices in the treatment of co-occurring disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals dealing with co-occurring mental health issues and substance use disorders. This patient demographic often faces multiple challenges, requiring a nuanced understanding and versatile treatment strategies. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
• Evidence of proficiency in treatment methodologies specific to co-occurring disorders, such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
• Strong understanding of the integration between mental health and substance use treatment.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with an ability to work harmoniously within a collaborative team framework.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in mental health or addiction counseling.
• Previous experience working within integrated care settings or environments focused on telehealth services.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and virtual therapy platforms.

Compensation and Benefits
