This position is entirely remote, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your home while utilizing advanced technology to deliver services. Our practice leverages electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR, to maintain accurate records and streamline communication. You will have the opportunity to work both independently and in collaboration with other mental health specialists, ensuring a comprehensive treatment approach tailored to individual needs.

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments through initial consultations, documenting case histories from start to finish.
• Evaluate clients' emotional, behavioral, and psychological health utilizing evidence-based screening tools.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and recovery plans tailored for individuals, couples, families, and groups to effectively address their unique struggles.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that encourage open communication and self-exploration.
• Monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, medical doctors, nurses, and social workers, to create holistic intervention plans.
• Provide follow-up care for clients transitioning to hospital environments, ensuring continuity of care.
• Identify and address potential barriers to recovery, equipping clients and their families with strategies to overcome these challenges.
• Support family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing mental and behavioral health challenges.

You will work with a diverse client population facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Many of our clients are navigating complex life transitions, and your role will be vital in guiding them toward effective coping strategies and long-term recovery. Your empathetic approach will be crucial in establishing rapport and trust, essential components for successful therapeutic relationships.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and active licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Pennsylvania is mandatory.
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) is essential.
• Proven experience in a mental health counseling capacity, demonstrating successful treatment outcomes.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records, particularly AVATAR, to manage client data effectively.
• An understanding of co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions, including various addiction disorders.
• Familiarity with the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology concerning medications prescribed by medical professionals.
• Remarkable written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear interactions with clients and other professionals.
• A deep sense of empathy and exceptional interpersonal skills, essential for relating to clients with various backgrounds.

• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
• Background in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care practices.
• Previous work within remote healthcare environments or teletherapy settings will be highly regarded.

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and skill level.
