Job description

At Slipstream we work to streamline IT Support and provide managed solutions with a strategic consulting and global leadership management approach. Our solutions are designed exclusively for emerging pharma and biotech organizations.

Slipstream’s industry-leading solutions free clients from the demands of internal IT and allow them to rapidly advance their mission. Led by a leadership team that has been together for over 10 years, you will join a proven team, culture, and strategy to drive innovation within the IT outsourcing industry while developing your skillset with the opportunities for internal growth.

About the Role

Slipstream Life Sciences is a life sciences Salesforce Managed Service Provider building out specialized delivery capability around cell and gene therapy solutions. We are hiring a Salesforce Architect with hands-on Advanced Therapy Module (ATM) experience in Health Cloud or Life Sciences Cloud to lead architecture for clients managing chain of custody, chain of identity, patient services scheduling, and clinical operations across the cell and gene therapy lifecycle.

ATM is the core focus of this role. Experience in broader patient services, clinical, or commercial Salesforce projects is a plus, and this architect may also flex into supporting those engagements alongside ATM work. This is a senior, client-facing individual contributor role. Limited travel 10% or less. Fully remote.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect end-to-end solutions on Salesforce Health Cloud or Life Sciences Cloud leveraging the Advanced Therapy Module for cell and gene therapy chain of custody and chain of identity tracking.
  • Design patient or participant scheduling workflows spanning collection, manufacturing slot booking, and infusion milestones.
  • Architect integration patterns connecting ATM to external systems (LIMS, ERP, courier and logistics platforms, EHR) using MuleSoft or equivalent middleware, ensuring real-time visibility into product status and chain of custody.
  • Lead technical design sessions with clinical operations, patient services, and IT stakeholders, translating regulated business processes into scalable Salesforce architecture.
  • Own solution architecture across data model, security and sharing, automation (Flow, Apex), and integration layers, ensuring alignment with 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, and GxP requirements.
  • Provide architectural governance across delivery teams and mentor developers and configuration analysts.
  • Support presales activities including solution design workshops, estimation, and RFP responses for cell and gene therapy prospects.
  • Flex into broader patient services, clinical, or commercial Salesforce project work as capacity and client need allow.
  • Partner with QA and validation teams on computer system validation (CSV) documentation for regulated environments.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Salesforce experience, including 3+ years in an architect-level role.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Health Cloud or Life Sciences Cloud, specifically the Advanced Therapy Module.
  • Active Salesforce Certified Architect credential (Application Architect, System Architect, or Technical Architect).
  • Experience architecting integrations between Salesforce and external systems (LIMS, ERP, EHR, logistics or courier platforms) using MuleSoft or similar tools.
  • Working knowledge of life sciences regulatory frameworks including 21 CFR Part 11, GxP/CSV, and HIPAA.
  • Strong command of Salesforce data model, security architecture, and automation (Flow, Apex).
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to translate clinical or commercial operations requirements into technical architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
  • Health Cloud Accredited Professional or Agentforce Life Sciences Consultant certification.
  • Experience in clinical trial operations (chain of custody or chain of identity tracking) or commercial patient services and hub scheduling.
  • MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect or Developer.
  • Experience with clinical trial management systems (Vault CTMS, Veeva, or similar).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Scheduler or Field Service for site and appointment coordination.
  • Experience with Data Cloud for unified patient or participant data.
  • Exposure to OmniStudio for guided workflows.
  • Knowledge of ICH-GCP, cold chain and product traceability requirements, and unique product/device identifier standards.
  • Familiarity with HL7/FHIR interoperability standards.
  • Experience with Shield Platform Encryption or equivalent PHI protection controls.
  • Prior consulting or professional services background in life sciences.

Benefits

  • 401k match
  • Comprehensive group health, dental, vision benefits
  • Life insurance/LTD
  • Discretionary PTO
