Job description

EU Telemedicine Doctor, Weight Management

Poland - Remote

Ready to revolutionize healthcare, making it faster and more accessible than ever before?

How we started:

Founded in 2013 by Dwayne D'Souza, HeliosX was built on a simple but powerful idea: healthcare should be easier to access, faster to receive, and centred around the individual. From day one, we've grown without external funding; scaling profitably through technology, disciplined execution, and deep medical expertise. What started as a challenger idea has become one of the most significant healthcare platforms operating globally today.

Where we are now:

We've earned the trust of millions of people worldwide through category-leading products and well-known brands, including MedExpress, Dermatica, ZipHealth, RocketRX, and Levity. A key driver of our success is vertical integration; we operate our own manufacturing and proprietary products, led by in-house medical teams, researchers, and pharmacists at the top of their fields.

In 2025, HeliosX treated more than 1.7 million patients globally and reached £781m in revenue, representing +337% year-on-year growth and cementing our position as the clear market leader in the UK. That growth translates into real-world outcomes: our weight-loss treatments helped patients lose 8.5 million kilograms of excess weight in 2025 alone, contributing to an estimated 1,300 fewer cardiac events. This is growth with measurable, life-changing impact at scale.

Today, we operate across four international markets, with successful launches in Germany and Canada and continued expansion in the US. We were also recently recognised in the Sunday Times Top 100 fastest-growing tech companies, further validation of both our momentum and our ambition.

Where we're going:

2026 is another significant year for HeliosX. Our ambition is to surpass £1.1bn in revenue, continue expanding thoughtfully into new international markets and broaden our condition and treatment portfolio. As we scale, we're focused on building the technology, operational excellence and clinical capabilities that will support sustainable long-term growth. Joining HeliosX now means helping shape the systems, teams and products that will define the next chapter of digital healthcare. You'll be solving complex problems at pace, working alongside exceptional people and building products that genuinely improve lives at scale.

There's never been a more exciting time to join HeliosX. Come be a part of making our dream of easier and faster healthcare a reality!

About the role

We are looking for licensed specialist Doctors based in Poland, fluent in English, to join the establishment of our EU online prescribing service. This is an exciting role for a Doctor to be part of our EU Digital Health and weight-loss service.

We are building a German-speaking prescriber team, so German language skills are a real advantage and German-speaking doctors are especially encouraged to apply. Fluent English is essential. German is not required.

You will be responsible for remotely evaluating and assessing asynchronous patient consultations and issuing prescriptions when requirements have been met for safe supply. The team specialises in prescribing GLP-1 weight-loss treatments to patients based in Europe, initially in Germany.

What you'll be doing:
  • Use our asynchronous online platform to evaluate patient consultations and determine whether patients should be prescribed treatment.
  • Prescribe treatment in accordance with the clinical protocols set by HeliosX and, where applicable, the local regulations of your country of registration.
  • Request further information from patients where needed to safely prescribe, and complete concise notes on patient records in English where required.
  • Complete your own work efficiently and in line with the designated rota, supporting the team to meet customer demand.
  • Engage in team meetings and training sessions.
  • Keep up to date with prescribing requirements to maintain Independent Prescriber rights.
  • Keep up to date with any independent training required to ensure clinical competency in your areas of prescribing.
  • Work closely with our Customer Support team, including German-speaking colleagues, to provide patient support via email, phone call or video consultation.
  • If needed, provide correspondence to other healthcare professionals.
Who you are:
  • Registered doctor with a district medical chamber under the Supreme Medical Chamber of Poland (Naczelna Izba Lekarska), holding the right to practise (prawo wykonywania zawodu) and active Independent Prescriber rights.
  • A completed specialist (specialty training finished, no longer in training) in one of: Endocrinology and Diabetology, Internal Medicine (choroby wewnÄ™trzne), or Family Medicine (medycyna rodzinna).
  • Specialists in other internal-medicine fields (cardiology, gastroenterology, nephrology, pulmonology, geriatrics, rheumatology, haematology, medical oncology, intensive care, neurology, or infectious diseases) are welcome to apply and can qualify after completing SCOPE certification (World Obesity Federation).
  • Fluent in written and spoken English (essential). Written and spoken German is a strong advantage.
  • Experience managing obesity and type 2 diabetes. Experience prescribing GLP-1 medications is a big advantage.
  • Experience working in a digital health or telemedicine environment, and prescribing according to pathways or protocols.
  • Individual professional indemnity covering online asynchronous prescribing in the EU, or willingness to opt into the HeliosX scheme.
  • Experience using customer service tools such as Zendesk, computer literate, with excellent attention to detail.
