The Sharp Mental Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team in Anaheim, California. This full-time position offers an annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000, and your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive clinical social work services to clients in various stages of recovery. • Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments to evaluate clients and inform treatment planning, using evidence-based practices and therapeutic frameworks.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other team members to monitor clients’ medication side effects and adjust care plans as necessary, ensuring optimal mental health outcomes.
• Develop individualized aftercare plans for clients transitioning out of the program, focusing on resources and strategies to ensure long-term success.
• Document all client interactions by adhering to company policies and HIPAA regulations, including progress notes, treatment plans, and case management updates.
• Engage in case management activities, participating in treatment team meetings and conducting utilization reviews to assess patient progress.
• Provide crisis intervention and support resources during emergencies, demonstrating an adept ability to handle high-stress situations.
• Advocate for clients by researching and referring them to community resources, such as healthcare services, housing assistance, and nutritional programs, thereby enhancing their quality of life.

You will primarily work with individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and those requiring transitional support. Your ability to establish trust and rapport is vital, as many clients will depend on your guidance to navigate their emotional and practical needs in a supportive manner. Your clinical skills will directly contribute to improved patient outcomes and functional independence.

• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate program.
• A current and unrestricted California Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW) is required.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a behavioral health setting, demonstrating practical application of clinical skills.
• Experience in case management or direct contact roles is essential.
• Excellent conflict resolution skills and the ability to navigate complex client scenarios effectively.

• Demonstrated expertise in taking psychosocial histories and conducting assessments, including suicide risk evaluations and forensic assessment.
• Familiarity with telehealth technologies and electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate remote counseling and documentation.
• Previous experience leading or facilitating group therapy sessions is highly desired.
