MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Quality Assurance & Automated Script Engineer to join our innovative team. This is a REMOTE position.
The QA & Automated Script Engineer will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to support the enterprise system testing efforts, including creating automated test scripts, responding to/implementing/documenting required testing protocols, and completing required tasks/actions.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Creating, updating, maintaining, and interpreting required automated testing scripts targeted at core financial modules.
  • Working with management, internal teams, and project authorities to successfully navigate massive regression testing cycles mandated prior to cloud platform updates.
  • Documenting responses to financial testing requirements and updating test assertions as necessary while maintaining a robust library of automation documentation.
  • Maintaining, updating, and conducting routine automated script executions across general ledger postings, procurement workflows, and OIC integrations.
  • Maintaining system test baselines and configuration management items, including security event monitoring and compliance controls.
  • Working with all stakeholders to ensure complete and functioning systems that meet all exact mathematical precision requirements.
  • Recommending, and when approved, implementing process and policy improvements based on extensive code reviews of scripts written by junior engineers.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance and automated testing infrastructure.
  • Significant experience navigating complex end-to-end testing cycles and writing automated scripts for enterprise financial modules.
  • Significant experience meeting complex testing logic requirements, especially as it relates to validating general ledger postings and accounting outcomes.
  • Experience working across a large team to drive a quality automation agenda and working with complex, intertwined systems and data flows.
  • Experience inventorying complex test scripts, and with technical documentation involving financial integrations and system assertions.
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating complex information technology documentation, particularly test suites, scripts, and code review criteria.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Software Tester (CSTE) or relevant automated testing framework engineering certifications.
  • Experience with primary financial verification systems and compliance automation tools.
  • Self-starter with excellent people skills - able to work across teams, organize meetings/boards, and drive change throughout an organization.

Clearance Requirements:
  • Must be US citizen with the ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance with polygraph.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and collaborative spaces.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $116,400.00-$194,900.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
