What Does an International Librarian Do?
An international librarian is a librarian who works overseas. If you are an academic librarian, you may travel abroad to work on specialized projects, as part of a worker exchange program, or to do special research or archiving work for libraries in other countries. International schools also hire librarians to work for them. At an international school, you perform similar duties as you would as any other school librarian. Similar to international school librarians, some military installations also have schools for military families, and they also require librarians.
