Revenued is a revolutionary fintech company founded by a team of leading pioneers in the alternative small business financing industry. We provide capital to small to medium-sized businesses through bespoke funding arrangements such as business cards and line of credit. The company is in the midst of hypergrowth with international offices in US, Albania, Philippines, and India.

We are seeking a Collections Attorney to join our collections legal team. You will have the opportunity to enter at the ground floor and have tremendous responsibilities with our asset recovery process. In this role, you will be assisting in effectuating recovery of outstanding balances and/or assets of prejudgment and post-judgment creditor clients. You will have a chance to incorporate your previous legal/recovery efforts to streamline and scale our current operations and assist in building a world-class customer service & recovery team, including attendance at hearings.

This full-time position may be remote; however, the candidate must have a Florida Bar License, work in Miami-Dade County, and have the ability to attend hearings as necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate terms for stipulations of settlement;
  • Manage workload of internal and external counsel and monitor the cost, timeliness, and quality of results;
  • Prepare income and property executions, garnishments, bank restraints, asset searches, and any other post-judgment enforcement actions;
  • Prepare S&C, Affidavits and pleading documents;
  • Assist with e-filing;
  • Attend case hearings.
  • Liaison with the court on active files;
  • Work directly with local sheriff's or marshal's office when executing on a Writ, Order of Seizure or Levy;
  • File Proof of Claims and monitor bankruptcy cases;
  • Constant communication with international staff;
  • May be required to perform other tasks and duties reasonably related to job responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor Degree; Florida Bar License a must.
  • 0-3 years related experience preferred;
  • Related legal and undergraduate courses such as secured transactions, UCC, accounting, finance;
  • Experience in legal collections is preferred, but not necessary;
  • Skilled at multitasking; able to coordinate, organize, prioritize, and execute responsibilities in the face of conflicting priorities and unexpected situations;
  • Extremely detailed oriented a must;
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM is desirable; ability to manage multiple software applications;
  • Strong work ethic;
  • High level of discretion.
