Job description

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Systems Architect to join their rapidly growing team!
  • Supports PAC hybrid computing efforts by providing recommendations and advice regarding the design and architecture of the agency’s cloud-based hybrid computing environment.
  • Tasks include understanding the government’s cloud computing objectives and the implementing contractor’s plans and approach, and providing recommendations to support the Government’s adoption of, migration to or governance/management of Cloud computing, Cloud DevOps, and other Cloud oriented activities
  • Create and lead the DevOps AWS based platform used to migrate COTS products from on-prem to WandS
  • Create Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, OpenTofu, etc)
  • Create Gitlab Runner and CI/CD Pipelines to be used by Infrastructure and Development Teams
  • Create the patterns and Best Practices to be used by Development teams
  • Implement metrics and monitoring via AWS Cloudwatch
  • Familiarity with AWS Serverless components: Step Functions, Lambda Functions, S3 storage


Qualifications

  • Requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph 
  • BS + 15yrs experience

The projected compensation range for this position is $200K - $275K.
