As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Delta Area Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with various psychiatric disorders and substance abuse issues. Your role will be pivotal in helping clients navigate their mental health challenges, providing them with the tools and support they need to achieve improved mental well-being. • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; a Master’s or Doctorate in mental health or a related area is preferred.
• Must possess a valid license as a Mental Health Counselor.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients or substance abuse populations.
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting assessments, diagnosing clients, and delivering individual and group therapy.
