Home Healthcare Credentialing Specialist (Remote, Per Diem/Part Time)

Pay: $13–$19/hour Location: Remote Schedule: Per diem/part time, with potential to grow into a long term role for the right candidate

About the Role

House of Hearts Home Care is looking for an experienced Home Healthcare Credentialing Specialist to lead our credentialing efforts as we build out our provider network across multiple states. This is a remote, per diem/part time position to start, but it comes with real room to grow. Candidates who bring strong experience and reliability will have the opportunity to move into a long term role, and the position itself has the potential to evolve into something bigger for the right person.

What You'll Do
  • Credential and enroll our agency with insurance payers, including Medicaid and Medicare, for home healthcare services

  • Manage the full credentialing lifecycle: applications, follow up, renewals, and re credentialing

  • Credential the business in any state we currently operate in or expand into

  • Track application statuses and keep leadership updated on progress and timelines

  • Maintain accurate, organized records of all payer contracts, credentialing documents, and expiration dates

  • Troubleshoot and resolve credentialing issues or delays with payers directly

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of credentialing experience specifically in home healthcare

  • Proven experience credentialing with insurance companies, Medicaid, and Medicare

  • Experience credentialing in more than one state, with the ability to take on credentialing in new states as we expand

  • Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple applications and deadlines at once

  • Ability to work independently in a remote, self directed role

  • Excellent communication skills for working with payers and internal team members
