Job description

Logical is seeking an experienced, visionary SEO Senior Strategist to guide the evolution of our SEO offering and position our clients for success in a rapidly changing digital landscape. This is not a conventional SEO strategist role — we’re looking for someone who is equal parts practitioner and futurist.

You’ll partner closely with cross-functional leaders across Insight, Creative, and Automation to build an SEO product that integrates modern content strategy, schema and structured data, AI-influenced visibility, and outcome-first KPIs.

Requirements

What You’ll Do
  • Own SEO Product Vision
    • Lead the definition and refinement of Logical’s SEO product, with a focus on future-facing capabilities including AI impact, multimodal search, schema, and non-Google visibility (LLMs, Reddit, YouTube, etc.).
    • Build our strategy playbook for organic visibility in an era of shrinking CTRs and fragmented search behavior.
    • Drive Technical SEO Execution: Conduct and oversee comprehensive technical SEO audits, addressing crawl efficiency, indexation, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and internationalization. Collaborate with web developers to implement impactful solutions and ensure sites meet technical performance benchmarks.
  • Client Strategy & Leadership
    • Act as strategic lead on high-impact SEO accounts, overseeing outcome-aligned roadmap development and prioritization; including the integration of technical SEO initiatives that directly support roadmap objectives and measurable business outcomes..
    • Serve as an executive-facing advisor on SEO’s business impact, with the ability to connect organic performance to topline KPIs.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration
    • Collaborate with the Insight team to build visibility auditing frameworks and LLM-specific reporting loops.
    • Partner with the Creative team to align on content briefs, creative testing, and schema-driven page design.
    • Work with Paid Media leadership to identify shared signals across SEO and SEM.
    • Oversee contractor support for specific projects and manage execution quality and timeliness of deliverables
  • Innovation & Enablement
    • Monitor the evolution of AI-driven search and lead internal education on AI’s impact on search visibility.
    • Provide POVs on the role of generative content, synthetic data, and platform changes (SGE, Perplexity, ChatGPT, etc.).
    • Guide SEO team on how to responsibly leverage AI tools in content ideation, QA, and auditing.
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, including technical SEO, audits, and cross-functional SEO strategy.
  • Experience leading SEO strategy for mid-to-large brands across B2B or B2C verticals.
  • A strong perspective on how AI and large language models are reshaping user behavior and organic opportunity.
  • Deep expertise in technical SEO with proven ability to design and execute audits, interpret diagnostics, and guide implementation teams toward resolution.
  • Familiarity with tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Looker Studio, and emerging AI platforms (e.g. Perplexity, GPT, Claude).
  • Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and building org-wide alignment on organic strategy.
  • Natural collaborator across channel, strategy, and execution layers.
  • Bonus: Experience with structured data (schema), content design systems, or enterprise SEO platforms.

What You’ll Bring
  • Curiosity and vision. You care deeply about where SEO is going, not just how it’s performed today.
  • Strategic clarity. You can turn market signals into actionable roadmaps for clients and internal teams.
  • Builder mindset. You’re excited to co-create a category-leading SEO product — and bring others along with you.

Benefits

Logical Benefits

  • Flexible Fridays
  • Option to work completely remote
  • Access to senior management and mentoring opportunities

  • Optional COVID safe company gatherings
