Job description

  • JOB REQUIREMENTS
    • Education
      • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. Thorough understanding of internal audit processes. Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Experience
      • Previous healthcare experience with knowledge of the 340B legislation and process, computerized drug distribution systems, purchasing, inventory control, clinical and ambulatory pharmacy services, financial and business controls, and experience working in a high volume, continually changing environment is preferred. St. Bernards is willing to train an exceptional candidate that does not have all of this experience. Candidate must have problem solving abilities, organizational abilities, ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, ability to work independently with little supervision, and ability to prioritize. Must be detail and goal-oriented, adaptable to change, and able to manage stress effectively. Must be proficient in spreadsheets, presentations, word processing, and database applications. Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to act independently, have meticulous follow-up skills, organizational skills, prioritization skills, and experience working in a team environment. Must have ability to interact well with other healthcare professionals. Must be able to interpret rules and regulations and be able to formulate into compliance audits.
    • Physical
      • This is primarily a remote position. Extremely close eye work with use of computer up to 8 hours a day. Continuous sitting approximately 90% of the work day. Must be able to travel to other departments and entities within the system in order to view working areas and perform on-site audits. Finger dexterity, talking, repetitive motion and writing, lifting and moving up to 25 lbs. Use of computer - PC, calculator, fax, copier, telephone, scanner, and printer. Communication skills: Interpersonal, phone, writing procedures and documentation. This is a safety sensitive position. Please see the St. Bernards Substance Abuse Policy for further information.
  • JOB SUMMARY
