Intermountain Healthcare & Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) for a full-time remote position. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, ensuring that treatment plans are accurately based on assessments.
  • Collaborate with clients to formulate customized treatment plans that align with their specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to provide effective counseling services.
  • Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to enhance their understanding and engagement in the recovery process.
  • Monitor and document client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to integrate care and deliver a holistic treatment approach.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continually improve therapeutic methods and client care strategies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse clientele facing various mental health issues, ranging from mood disorders to anxiety and trauma. Your clients will include individuals from different backgrounds and demographics, providing a unique opportunity to create tailored therapeutic strategies that resonate with their distinct experiences and challenges.

Qualifications
  • A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is mandatory for this position.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusting relationships with clients through excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exhibit empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences and struggles in their personal and mental health journeys.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in a clinical setting or working with specialized populations, particularly related to traumatic experiences or addiction recovery, will be considered a valuable asset. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and digital documentation processes will also be beneficial in ensuring a smooth transition into the remote work setting.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, supplemented with potential bonuses based on performance.
