PMB Property Improvements is a fast-growing renovation and remodeling company. We are looking for adesign-forward, resourceful, and relationship-driven Interior Designer & Materials Curatorto help us create upscale spaces while building direct vendor and manufacturer pipelines. This role is perfect for someone who lovesdesigning with intention AND curating materials at the source.


What Youll Do

Design & Space Planning

  • Space plan with ergonomics, flow, and proportion in mind.
  • Guide clients with tasteful, upscale design decisions that stay within budget.
  • Apply advanced design knowledge:
    • Color drenching, French returns, muted tones as neutrals, varied textures, layered heights.
    • Lighting temperature and mood.
    • How much detail to add without overwhelming a space.
  • Ensure projects feelcurated over time, not cookie-cutter.


Materials & Sourcing

  • Curate and select finishes:tile, countertops, flooring, hardware, lighting, cabinetry, and furnishings.
  • Builddirect-to-manufacturer relationships(local and overseas) to unlock pricing, exclusivity, and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain PMBsmaterials library a curated catalog of approved, budget-conscious, upscale selections.


Vendor & Relationship Management

  • Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Nurture long-term vendor partnerships to strengthen PMBs pipeline.
  • Track commissions tied to sourcing wins.


Client & Team Collaboration

  • Present curated design boards, mood boards, and finish selections.
  • Provideassertive yet respectful feedbackto guide decisions.
  • Collaborate with PMB project managers to ensure materials align with construction timelines.
  • UseHouzz Profor project coordination, estimates, and selections.


What Were Looking For

  • Design Expertise:Strong understanding of interiors, finishes, and design principles (scale, proportion, lighting, ergonomics, texture layering).
  • Material Knowledge:Experience curating and sourcing tile, stone, wood, lighting, and furnishings.
  • Software Skills:Houzz Pro (required); SketchUp, AutoCAD, or Canva a plus.

Compensation
