• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on both pre-crisis and crisis interventions.
• Document all client interactions and treatment interventions promptly and according to regulatory standards, ensuring compliance with industry protocols.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools effectively to assess client needs and guide therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to outline and implement positive behavioral support plans that cater to individual client needs.
• Take an active role in the accreditation and licensing processes, ensuring the clinic maintains its high standards of operation.
• Serve as a liaison to relevant service systems, including state agencies and community partners, fostering collaborative relationships that enhance client service delivery.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, such as attending workshops and conferences, to stay updated with best practices in mental health counseling.
• Promote and embody the agency's mission and values in all interactions, advocating for client-centric care.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, contributing to a cohesive team environment.

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, substance use, and developmental disabilities. Many clients seek our services to gain tools for coping, recovery, and enhanced quality of life. Your expertise will directly impact their journey towards emotional health and stability.

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required to qualify for this position.
• An independent LMHC license granted by the state board is essential.
• Strong skills in maintaining clinical documentation and creating detailed reports.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
• The capacity to exercise professional judgment and make independent decisions in line with best practices in mental health counseling.

• Previous experience in a community health clinic setting is highly favored.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice methodologies can enhance your effectiveness in this role.
• Experience conducting group therapy sessions and workshops is a plus.

The position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
