How will you fit in the big picture?

The Manager, Data Analytics & Business Intelligence serves as a trusted analytics advisor who transforms complex data into actionable business insights that drive divisional performance and decision-making. This role partners with business stakeholders to solve ambiguous business challenges, develop advanced analytics solutions, and ensure leaders have the insights needed to make informed strategic decisions. As a recognized subject matter expert, you will lead high-impact analytical initiatives, design scalable reporting and dashboard solutions, and help elevate analytics capabilities across the organization. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine technical expertise, strategic thinking, and business partnership to create meaningful impact across Hershey. 

What will you do?

 Lead complex analytical projects from problem definition through insight generation, translating ambiguous business questions into clear analytical approaches and actionable recommendations. Design and execute advanced analyses using multiple data sources to uncover opportunities, risks, and business performance drivers. Oversee the development and enhancement of dashboards, reports, and business intelligence solutions that improve decision-making and visibility across the organization. Synthesize analytical findings into clear, compelling stories that help stakeholders understand implications, tradeoffs, and recommended actions. Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders by providing data-driven perspectives on strategic and operational decisions. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align analytical priorities with business objectives and ensure insights address critical business needs. Build analytical capability across the team through coaching, mentorship, and sharing of best practices. Ensure data quality, analytical rigor, and consistency in reporting methodologies and business intelligence solutions. Contribute to continuous improvement of analytics processes, tools, and decision-making practices across the division.

Minimum Education & Requirements
Experience:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, commercial analytics, consumer insights, finance, strategy, consulting, or a related analytical field.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex analytical projects and delivering actionable business recommendations.
  • Strong expertise in data analysis, visualization, dashboard development, and business intelligence solutions.
  • Proven ability to translate complex analytical findings into executive-ready presentations and business recommendations.
  • Experience influencing stakeholders and working effectively across a matrixed organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to structure and solve ambiguous business challenges.
  • Experience with data visualization and business intelligence platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools preferred.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency required.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
