What is remote intelligence?

A Remote Intelligence job involves analyzing, collecting, and interpreting data relevant to national security, business, or other sectors, while working from a location outside a traditional office, often from home or another remote location. These roles often involve tasks like monitoring digital communications, reviewing satellite imagery, or assessing open-source information to provide actionable insights. Remote Intelligence professionals may work for government agencies, private companies, or consulting firms. This job requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and often a background in security, technology, or data analysis.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote intelligence analyst?

To thrive as a Remote Intelligence Analyst, you need strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a background in intelligence studies, international relations, or a related field. Familiarity with intelligence analysis software, data mining tools, and secure communication systems is typically required, along with relevant certifications like Security+ or Certified Intelligence Analyst. Excellent written communication, critical thinking, and discretion are crucial soft skills for interpreting data and sharing insights securely. These skills enable effective remote assessment of complex information, ensuring timely and accurate intelligence support for decision-makers.

How does working in a remote intelligence role typically impact collaboration and communication with team members?

In a Remote Intelligence position, effective collaboration and communication are essential, given that team members often work across different locations and time zones. Most teams rely heavily on secure digital platforms, such as encrypted messaging apps, video conferencing, and collaborative cloud-based tools, to share insights and coordinate tasks. Regular virtual meetings, clear documentation practices, and established communication protocols help ensure everyone stays aligned. Adapting to asynchronous communication and being proactive in sharing updates are key to overcoming the unique challenges posed by remote work in this sensitive field.

Job description

Role Snapshot

Woven Legal LLC is hiring a part-time, fully remote Intellectual Property Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in federal patent infringement litigation, as well as trademark and copyright infringement mattersโ€”from pre-suit strategy through trial and resolution (not prosecution or USPTO/PTAB work).
Key responsibilities include maintaining litigation calendars and critical deadlines; drafting, proofreading, and assembling pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial materials; coordinating e-filings through CM/ECF and working in PACER; organizing electronic case files; supporting discovery and document review; preparing deposition, Markman, mediation, hearing, and trial exhibits; and communicating professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors.
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of federal IP litigation paralegal experience
- Strong preference for patent infringement litigation; substantial trademark/copyright litigation considered
- Working knowledge of FRCP, FRE, local rules, and judge-specific procedures
- Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail across multiple matters
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice management tools; effective remote independence
If you thrive in fast-moving federal litigation, apply to join our team.

A Day, Clearly

Your morning starts with a focused scan of the docket to spot new activity and confirm what needs attention first. You map the day around whatโ€™s due soonest, then sync with attorneys to align on upcoming filings and case posture.
As the day moves, you shift between preparing clean, court-ready filing packages and keeping the matterโ€™s record set orderly so nothing is lost in the noise. Youโ€™ll keep one eye on procedural requirementsโ€”local rules and judge preferencesโ€”while coordinating with court staff and outside vendors as needed.
Late afternoon is for tightening the details: final checks before submissions go out, quick status updates to keep the team coordinated, and a last pass through upcoming dates so tomorrow begins with clarity rather than catch-up.
