Intellectual Mental Care, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team on a full-time basis. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health challenges, enabling the development of tailored treatment plans.
• Provide individualized therapy aimed at fostering personal growth and psychological well-being, incorporating evidence-based practices and methodologies.
• Collaborate with fellow clinicians in regular team meetings, group supervision, and individualized support sessions to enhance therapeutic practices.
• Establish measurable therapeutic goals in partnership with clients and regularly monitor progress to ensure effective therapeutic outcomes.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in accordance with ethical standards and organizational policies.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to remain informed about innovative trends and enhance clinical skills.

Our client base includes individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, including children, adolescents, couples, and the LGBTQIA community. In this role, you will provide sensitive, culturally competent care that respects each client's unique life experiences. Your expertise will empower clients to overcome a range of challenges, contributing to their overall mental health and well-being.

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• A valid and current state-issued LMFT license is mandatory.
• At least two years of full-time counseling experience, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic techniques.
• Experience working with diverse populations, including couples, families, and individuals from various cultural backgrounds.

While not mandatory, experience working specifically with clients facing addiction issues and those from historically marginalized communities is highly valued. Additional qualifications, such as training in trauma-informed care, can enhance your application.
