• Conduct virtual therapy sessions with clients, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to ensure personalized care tailored to individual needs.

• Implement therapeutic interventions that promote emotional intelligence and encourage positive behavioral changes.
• Document therapy sessions meticulously using our user-friendly online management system, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and practice standards.

This position specifically targets the mental health needs of first responders, a demographic often underserved due to the unique challenges associated with their profession. You will work with individuals addressing issues such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, and the emotional toll of high-stress situations. Your role will be pivotal in offering them the support they need to navigate these hurdles and foster resilience in both their personal and professional lives.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active California licensure as LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC is mandatory to ensure the highest standards of practice.
• A minimum of two years of demonstrated experience in a mental health counseling environment, preferably in outpatient or remote care settings.
• Organizational skills with a strong capacity to work independently while managing a caseload effectively.
• Proficient with technology and digital tools to support virtual therapy and efficient record-keeping.

While not required, experience working with trauma-informed care frameworks or prior roles focused on the mental health needs of first responders will be considered advantageous. Familiarity with therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) may also enhance your candidacy.
