Responsibilities

The Business Analyst serves as a strategic partner and trusted advisor, independently driving complex initiatives from concept through delivery. This role requires a proactive selfstarter who takes full ownership of outcomes, influences stakeholders across the organization, and confidently presents insights, risks, and recommendations to their team, stakeholders and executive teams. The Business Analyst plays a critical role in translating business needs into actionable solutions and ensuring alignment between strategy, execution, and measurable results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead endtoend requirements discovery by partnering with business and executive stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and operational needs.
  • Translate complex business problems into clear functional specifications, user stories, solution designs and acceptance criteria.
  • Perform detailed gap analyses and proactively identify opportunities for system optimization, efficiency gains, and risk mitigation.
  • Partner with solution architects and engineering teams to ensure solutions align with technical standards, scalability, security, and integration requirements.
  • Facilitate and lead meetings, workshops, and decisionmaking forums, driving alignment and accountability.
  • Prepare and deliver concise, executiveready presentations that clearly articulate findings, recommendations, and tradeoffs.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, release planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring requirements remain aligned to business value.
  • Support UAT by defining test scenarios, validating results, and ensuring requirements are met.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Serve as a mentor and role model for best practices in analysis, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional communication skills (oral, written, and presentation) with the ability to influence and engage executivelevel stakeholders.
  • Proven selfstarter with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and followthrough.
  • Demonstrated initiative and accountability with a strong "get it done" mindset.
  • A person with claims insurance background is strongly preferred.
  • High degree of organization and comfort operating in a highpaced delivery environment with competing priorities.
  • Strong balance of technical expertise and insurance business acumen.
  • Demonstrated experience launching software or services in close partnership with development teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Agile principles, iterative development, and prototyping.
  • Deep understanding of business process modeling, data analysis, and requirements management.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with demonstrated leadership on complex initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI, Azure DevOps) is strongly preferred.

Salary Range $57,304.80-$132,706.20  

In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, this range represents a good-faith estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, credentials, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.

Parsippany, NJ; Conshohocken, PA; WilkesBarre, PA; and Alpharetta, GA
