What this job involves: We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst to serve as the reporting and data quality expert for our Project Development Services team. In this role, you'll transform complex project data into compelling insights through dashboards and reports that drive decision-making for both client and executive audiences. As the subject matter expert for our reporting platforms, you'll partner closely with the PMO Director and Project Leadership to elevate our data capabilities, ensure information accuracy, and deliver innovative solutions that support strategic initiatives. This remote position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on client satisfaction and operational excellence through your expertise in data visualization, analysis, and continuous process improvement.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Performance Reporting & Analysis
  • Partner with PMO Director, Projects Leadership, and clients to create regular and ad hoc reports and analysis for projects, client needs, and to support team and account's initiatives
  • Generate performance dashboards, operational metrics, and compliance reporting, with focus on automation and efficiency
  • Track KPI performance, identify issues requiring attention, and recommend solutions
  • Support preparation and presentation development for leadership meetings and translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences

Data Quality
  • Validate data accuracy before distribution of reports and presentations
  • Support and improve data quality across operational systems
  • Monitor data quality metrics and flag and escalate issues requiring attention
  • Review operational workflows and processes to identify issues impacting data quality

Technical Solutions & Automation
  • Develop solutions using native Excel functionality including advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and conditional logic
  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and automate repetitive tasks using Power Automate and advanced Excel capabilities
  • Develop and maintain Smartsheet and JLL Tracker solutions to streamline processes and enhance productivity
  • Support development of BI requirements and coordinate with technical teams on development
  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for Ingenious reporting capabilities, maintaining deep knowledge of system functionality, report development, and best practices to support project tracking and compliance requirements
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and data visualizations in Azara for client and executive audiences, translating complex project metrics into clear, compelling visual narratives that drive insights and decision-making

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships and partnerships with Projects Leadership and stakeholders
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills with ability to manage stakeholder expectations across competing demands
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders and cross-functional teams on data standards, best practices, proper data entry, report interpretation, use of analytical tools, and understanding of data definitions, sources, and appropriate usage
  • Demonstrate flexibility in managing multiple concurrent requests and adapting to changing client and business priorities
  • Proactively identify issues before they escalate and respond to time-sensitive analytical requests

Documentation & Knowledge Management
  • Maintain playbooks and standard operating procedures for data collection, validation, and reporting processes
  • Document data flows, reporting processes, and analytical methodologies to support team coverage, knowledge transfer, and high-quality data maintenance
  • Support development and maintenance of data dictionaries

Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in business intelligence development with focus on reporting and dashboard creation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills with ability to adjust content to the stakeholder, utilize JLL and client templates and standards, and convey information clearly and concisely
  • Strong relationship management and collaborative skills with excellent listening capability to build and maintain trusted partnerships with diverse stakeholders
  • Advanced native Excel skills including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and Power Query to analyze and manipulate data and generate meaningful reporting efficiently and effectively
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations, break down complex work into actionable steps, and proactively communicate progress, risks, and roadblocks
  • Skilled at prioritizing tasks, working independently, meeting deadlines, and making effective decisions while moving processes forward with various stakeholders
  • Strong data analysis proficiency with ability to conduct analyses, translate findings into actionable insights, and maintain high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong sense of ownership and self-motivation with ability to represent JLL company values

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably Corrigo
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and reporting frameworks, particularly within corporate real estate, facilities management, or professional services environments
  • Proven ability to multitask effectively and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong background in report generation, data visualization, and presenting findings to various stakeholder levels
  • Advanced analytics skills with proficiency in data and statistical applications such as PowerPivot, Tableau, Azara
  • Skilled at utilizing JLL AI tools to automate tasks, generate insights, and increase productivity
  • Understanding of data quality management, data governance principles, and how they impact business processes preferred
  • Strong skills with developing and maintaining Smartsheet solutions to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and facilitate efficient collaboration within teams
  • Excellent MS PowerPoint and Word skills; proficient with Outlook and Teams

Estimated compensation for this position:
100,000.00 - 115,000.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
