• Conduct initial client interviews and assessments to develop a thorough understanding of their mental health needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, addressing their unique mental health symptoms and identifying actionable goals.
• Evaluate client progress continuously, modifying treatment approaches as necessary based on gathered bio-psychosocial data from clients, their families, and other stakeholders.
• Utilize diagnostic tools such as mental status exams and assessments of functional impairments to ensure accurate and effective treatment plans.
• Stay current with best practices in therapeutic techniques, including knowledge in chemical dependency, trauma-informed care, and family systems therapy.

Your primary focus will be on individuals and families who are experiencing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship issues. Our clinic serves a diverse population, including underserved communities, providing you the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of those in need. • A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• Must possess an active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the State of California.
• At least 2–3 years of direct therapy experience is mandatory, demonstrating your capability in clinical practice.
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice, respecting all aspects of client privacy in accordance with legal guidelines.
• A drug-free commitment is required; compliance with standards around substance use is imperative.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and client engagement.

• Expertise in specific therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other evidence-based practices.
• Background in working with diverse populations and an understanding of the social determinants of health that impact mental health.
• Experience in treatment planning and outcome-based assessments would be a plus.

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
