Job Summary

The DevOps Engineer II will play a significant role in the development, automation, and security across our diverse company portfolio. We presently use a diverse number of systems like GitLab-CI/CD, JFrog Artifactory, Terraform, and Kubernetes to automate the testing and delivery of both our Windows and Linux based hosted applications; with plans to consolidate on Granicus standard tools where possible.The DevOps Engineer II will have a good understanding of full-stack application development, testing, continuous integration, a passion for security, and experience working in an agile software development environment.

What Your Impact Will Look Like
    * Automate CI/CD pipelines to build and deploy our software.
    * Provisioning and maintenance of systems, load balancer configs, firewall rules, databases, and other automation driven infrastructure tasks.
    * Troubleshoot infrastructure and application related issues.
    * Work towards implementing platform stability and cost-effective practices.
    * Take ownership of platform standardization initiatives, involving migration to Granicus standard tools and technologies.
    * Escalation support for the SRE team
You Will Love This Job If You Have
  • Experience/Credentials:

    * Bachelor's degree in computer science and/or relevant experience
    * 2+ years of hands-on experience in the DevOps framework.
    * Strong hold in Linux and Windows administration.
    * Good proficiency in diagnosing and remediating complex technical issues.
    * Good understanding of cloud hosting infrastructure.
    * Designing and implementing infrastructure using IAC, Terraform.
    * Strong hold on continuous integration/continuous deployment concepts.
    * Good understanding of cloud networking concepts.
    * Good understanding of source code management, GitLab preferred.
    * Good understanding of containerization concepts.
    * Passion for security and identifying opportunities to improve security and testing.
    * Effective communication skills for working across support and engineering departments.
    * Monitoring the infrastructure and application for improvements, and monitoring and analyzingapplication and system logs.
    * Troubleshooting and debugging cloud-related issues, including performance bottlenecks and system outages.
    * Developing and maintaining backup and disaster recovery plans.
    * Ability to leverage AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity, improve decision-making, and drive innovation in daily work activities.
