This role will be based in a remote setting, but connected to local schools, where you will work with a diverse population of students experiencing various mental health concerns. Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties as a Clinical Social Worker will include:

  • Conducting in-depth assessments and developing tailored treatment plans based on individual student needs, utilizing solution-focused and evidence-based interventions.
  • Providing psychotherapy services in various formats, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions, to address a spectrum of mental health issues from anxiety and depression to behavioral challenges.
  • Maintaining detailed and confidential clinical documentation compliant with HIPAA standards, ensuring thorough record-keeping and timely reporting of patient progress.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams within the schools, including educational staff, psychologists, and other mental health practitioners, to coordinate comprehensive support and interventions for students.
  • Participating in case consultations and peer review meetings to improve therapeutic practices and enhance service delivery.
  • Offering training and workshops for educators and parents to raise awareness about mental health and provide support strategies.
  • Staying informed on new developments in clinical social work practices and mental health research to integrate the latest knowledge into your work.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents, addressing their unique emotional, behavioral, and social needs. You will engage with students facing challenges ranging from academic stress to familial issues, ensuring they receive comprehensive support that foster emotional resilience and growth.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • A valid state certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience, specifically focusing on providing psychotherapy services to youth.
  • Knowledge of various therapeutic methodologies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), along with solution-focused techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in school settings or working with adolescents and children in a therapeutic environment is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with telehealth practices and other remote service delivery methods.
