As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals from various backgrounds, including psychiatrists, medical personnel, and support staff, to create integrated care plans for our patients. As an LCSW at Sun Valley Consultation Services, you will be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities aimed at improving the mental health and overall well-being of our patients. Your key tasks will include:

• Conducting comprehensive bio-psychosocial evaluations to understand the psychosocial issues impacting patients and their families.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities in both individual and group therapy settings to facilitate healing and recovery.
• Maintaining meticulous documentation of social work activities in patients' medical records, adhering to departmental standards regarding frequency and content.
• Providing education and resources to patients and their families to help them navigate emotional and practical aspects of treatment.
• Preparing and completing case-related statistics and other reports as required.

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing a range of mental health issues, particularly those in the detox process. You will work closely with patients navigating the challenges of addiction, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders. Through compassionate support and expert guidance, you will help them achieve optimal psychosocial functioning, instilling hope and a sense of agency in their recovery journey.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate school.
• A current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license issued by the State Board of Social Work Licensure.
• Demonstrated understanding and clinical skills needed to provide care to diverse populations while considering factors such as aging processes and cultural patterns.

While the minimum requirement is a year of clinical experience, we strongly prefer candidates who have:

• A background working in behavioral health settings, especially in detox or rehabilitation environments.
• Hands-on training addressing unique patient needs related to addiction recovery and mental health.
