Position Summary: Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Software Development Engineer to design and develop software applications and platforms to support digital strategies and solutions. Duties include: analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements; determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation; upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability; write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing; develop and deploy application components and support unit testing and bug fixes; participate in AGILE Scrum meetings and/or CI/CD; support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; and collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices. Telecommuting available. Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related field and completion of a graduate-level course , research project, internship, thesis, or six (6) months of experience in each of the following: Oracle Database Management System (DBMS); SQL and Python; Object oriented programming in Java; XML, SOAP, Web services, and JEE-based application servers; Agile methodologies and Scrum methodologies; Tableau and Machine learning; Big Data and Spark; Hadoop platform (HDFS); Cloud based platforms (Goggle Collaboratory, GCP, or AWS); and Data structures and algorithms. Pay Range: $109512.00/year to $158620.00/year.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
