Job Description

This role is responsible for investigating and managing non-attorney represented bodily injury claims from initial report through resolution. You will evaluate coverage, determine liability, assess damages, and negotiate claims within your level of authority.
In this role, you will work directly with customers to gather information, explain the claims process, and provide a clear and supportive experience. You will also identify potential subrogation or fraud and partner with internal teams to achieve the best outcome.

We are seeking an Experienced Bodily Injury Adjuster to join our team supporting the Pacific Time Zone. In this role, you will handle non-attorney represented bodily injury claims, guiding customers through the claims process and ensuring fair and timely outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handles investigation regarding all aspects of bodily injury claims (coverage, damages, subrogation, litigation) with the exercise of discretion and independence within increased level of authority

  • Applies intermediate understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department.

  • Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle.

  • Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills.

  • Recognizes and identifies body parts of a vehicle and understanding of other potential property damage.

  • For claims involving fraud or subrogation, partners with assigned reps from those areas to achieve best outcome.

As a requirement of employment, individuals who currently hold an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and must not hold any outside appointments at any point during employment. Applicants seeking an adjuster role who also hold a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when instructed to by the licensing team. By proceeding with the application process, applicants acknowledge and accept these licensing requirements and agree to comply.
