Insurance Defense Attorney Environmental - Flint, MI Seeking an experienced defense attorney to represent the Company and its policyholders in environmental litigation matters like depositions, motion practices, and arbitrations involving Environmental Insurance Lines and Classes including: Toxic Tort; Environmental General Liability Exposures; Premises Pollution; Premises Pollution Healthcare; Environmental Impairment Liability - EIL; Pollution Legal Liability - PLL; Contractors Environmental Liability, Professional Liability, Storage Tank and Transmission Liability; Chemical Risks; Pesticides; Asbestos; Herbicides; etc. • Use Litigation Protocols to develop and revise appropriate legal strategy for discovery, investigation, handling and trials. • Apply new technologies to the law process to improve quality and reduce cost.

• Conduct necessary and appropriate discovery, hearings, trials, depositions, oral arguments, mediations, arbitrations and similar proceedings. • Advise, communicate and confer with Claims Representatives and Insured Clients, rendering clear, unambiguous legal opinions and advice. • Remain current with developments in the law; understand medical, scientific, construction, products, engineering or similar issues and defenses involved with cases or matters.
