The Licensed Clinical Social Worker position is completely remote, allowing for a dynamic and flexible work-life balance. • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to diagnose patients' mental health conditions, utilizing tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to inform individualized treatment plans.

• Continuously monitor and assess patients’ progress, adjusting therapeutic interventions and strategies to meet evolving needs and support effective mental health outcomes.

• Maintain up-to-date and comprehensive treatment records and clinical documentation, adhering to regulatory compliance and established department procedures to ensure quality care and accountability.

• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect patient goals, cultural backgrounds, and special requirements.

• Facilitate referrals to additional resources and support services, acting as a liaison between patients and relevant healthcare providers to streamline access to comprehensive care.

• Engage in educational activities, mentoring students, interns, and fellow team members, while utilizing opportunities for peer reviews and clinical collaboration to enhance team performance and patient care.

This role specifically focuses on providing care for individuals and families grappling with the emotional and psychological impacts of a cancer diagnosis. The LCSW will develop a deep understanding of patient experiences, addressing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders that can accompany a cancer journey. Through empathy and specialized knowledge, the LCSW will play a critical role in improving patients' overall well-being.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• A current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.

• Proficiency in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to effectively support mental health patients.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse patient population.

• Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented healthcare setting.

• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a mental health care setting, preferably working with oncology patients.

• Experience in developing treatment plans and conducting individual and group therapy sessions.

• Familiarity with technological tools for telehealth services, electronic health records, and clinical documentation.

The annual salary for this full-time LCSW position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
