Job description
The Opportunity:
We're hiring our first Global VP of Brand Partnerships & Enterprise Sales - a role created to land Cloudbeds at the center of the hospitality brand landscape. Conversations with global and regional brands are already underway; your first job is to close them. From there, you'll build the book that defines Cloudbeds' next chapter as a platform of choice for the world's largest hotel brands and enterprise independent groups.
This is a relationship role in a long-cycle market. Brand and franchise sales in hospitality are 12-24 months of trust-building, pilots, and C-suite alignment. You've done this before. You know the people. They take your call.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Global and regional brand agreements (70% of focus). Wrap up active conversations in progress. Open new ones with the brands we haven't reached yet. Drive pilots with major global brands that convert into enterprise rollouts over a 2-year horizon.C-suite rolodex in hospitality brands. You have active, warm relationships with Chief Development Officers, CIOs, CTOs, and Commercial leaders at major global and regional hotel brands. When you call, they answer.
- Enterprise independent hotel groups and portfolio operators (30% of focus). Direct-sourced deals of $1M+ in booked SaaS ARR. These deals fund the team while the brand book matures.
- One direct report today - Franchise Development Lead (economy and budget brands). You'll partner with him on the brand work and grow the team as the book grows.
- Executive presence at industry events, advisory boards, and brand HQs. You are the face of Cloudbeds at the brand level.
- Close partnership with the CGO, COO, Product, and Brand Partnerships teams to make sure what we sell, we can deliver.
What Sets You Up for Success:
- A C-suite rolodex in hospitality brands. You have active, warm relationships with Chief Development Officers, CIOs, CTOs, and Commercial leaders at major global and regional hotel brands. When you call, they answer.
- 10+ years of enterprise SaaS sales leadership, with a demonstrated track record of closing multi-year, multi-million-dollar platform deals. You understand how to orchestrate complex sales involving procurement, legal, IT, operations, and the franchisee community.
- Demonstrated patience and discipline in long sales cycles. You know how to build a pipeline that pays out in 18-24 months, and you know how to keep a team - and yourself - motivated through it.
- Executive presence. You can hold your own in a boardroom with the CEO of a 1,000-property brand, and you can coach a rep through their first six-figure deal the same afternoon.
Bonus skills to standout:
- Direct experience in franchise development, brand licensing, or hotel technology hiring for hospitality technology or a vertical SaaS business
- Prior experience scaling a team from player-coach to 5+ reps.
- Existing relationships with major hospitality M&A advisors, PE sponsors of hotel portfolios, or franchise associations
- On your application, attach a short note about the brands you've worked and done deals with.
Location & Travel:
- Remote, likely based in the United States or Canada.
- Up to 40-50% travel expected - brand HQs, major industry event, and customer visits.
