As part of our community health clinic, you will engage with colleagues who share your passion for mental health advocacy, offering collaborative support in a nurturing environment.

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their unique backgrounds and needs.
• Provide tailored individual and family therapy, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to address the specific mental health challenges identified through assessments.
• Ensure timely completion of necessary documentation, including billing and insurance authorization forms, as well as individualized treatment plans, all while adhering to regulatory compliance standards.
• Develop and implement crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans to support each patient's journey towards stability and improved functioning.
• Create effective discharge plans to ensure smooth transitions for patients concluding their therapy.
• Strictly adhere to all relevant federal and state laws and regulations, along with the policies and procedures set forth by Summerfield Mental and Wellness Center.
• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in training, workshops, and case consultations to enhance your skills and maintain licensure.

Our counseling services cater to a diverse spectrum of patients, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and other mental health concerns. You will work closely with clients from various backgrounds, utilizing culturally competent approaches to provide the most effective care.

• A master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that leads to licensure as a mental health professional.
• Active licensure as a mental health therapist (LCPC, LMFT, LCSW-C) in the state of Maryland.

• Previous experience working in a community health setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations and challenges.
• Experience in delivering telehealth services is advantageous, especially given the remote nature of this role.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, based on your licensing status and relevant experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
