Radiant Life Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team. • Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and their families, ensuring each assessment reflects the unique cultural backgrounds and needs.
• Provide individual and family therapy sessions consistent with identified therapeutic goals, employing various therapeutic modalities tailored to the client’s progress and needs.
• Complete meticulous documentation, including treatment plans, billing, and insurance authorization forms, within specified time frames to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
• Develop and implement crisis intervention strategies, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans to support clients in achieving stable functioning and improved quality of life.
• Create comprehensive discharge plans upon therapy conclusion, facilitating smooth transitions for clients as they move forward in their mental health journey.
• Adhere to all federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies while maintaining a high standard of ethical practices in all client interactions.
• Engage in continuous professional development through ongoing training, educational workshops, and staying abreast of current mental health trends and practices.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case consults to share insights and strategies that enhance patient care.
• Complete all necessary licensure renewals and mandatory training sessions to maintain professional standing.

Your clients will include a diverse range of individuals, including children, adolescents, and adults facing a variety of mental health challenges. The role demands a keen understanding of psychological issues, cultural sensitivities, and the ability to forge trusting relationships with clients from various backgrounds. By providing tailored therapy, you will help empower clients to cope with their challenges, improve their mental health outcomes, and lead more fulfilling lives.

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field required, resulting in eligibility for appropriate licensure.
• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of New Jersey is essential.

• Experience in telehealth delivery and familiarity with digital therapy platforms is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations and experience with culturally competent care.
• Prior experience in crisis intervention, treatment planning, and collaborative team environments is highly beneficial.
