• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their mental health needs.
• Provide individual and family therapy sessions tailored to the unique requirements identified during assessments.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including billing information, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms to facilitate seamless operational workflows.
• Develop robust crisis plans, safety plans, and wellness strategies to support the maintenance of stable functioning for clients facing challenges.
• Create thorough discharge plans, ensuring clients have the resources and support they need as they transition out of services.
• Adhere to all federal and state regulations as well as internal policies, maintaining the highest standards of professional practice.
• Engage in professional development through training and educational opportunities to enhance your skill set and maintain licensure.
• Participate in regular case consultations and agency meetings to share insights and discuss client progress within a collaborative team setting.
• Complete all licensure and mandatory training requirements to uphold the integrity and quality of care provided.

We serve a diverse patient population facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with individuals from all walks of life, fostering trust and delivering effective interventions to facilitate healing and growth.

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a closely related field that results in licensing.
• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of New York is required.

• Previous experience in outpatient mental health settings, particularly in delivering therapy to diverse populations.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic approaches and techniques.
• Experience collaborating within interdisciplinary teams to develop holistic treatment plans.

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and licensure.
