Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive culturally sensitive assessments for new patients and their families, using a strength-based approach to tailor treatment effectively.
  • Deliver high-quality individual and family therapy sessions to address the unique needs identified during assessments.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including billing, individual treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, to comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans to help patients maintain stable functioning.
  • Create detailed discharge plans with follow-up recommendations to ensure continuity of care after service completion.
  • Adhere strictly to federal and state laws, regulatory mandates, and Foothill Mental Healthcareโ€™s policies and procedures.
  • Engage in proactive professional development activities, including training and continuing education, to enhance clinical competencies.
  • Participate in case consultations and agency meetings to foster collaboration and improve service delivery.
  • Complete all necessary licensure obligations and mandatory training to maintain credentials.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families dealing with various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Your expertise in developing culturally appropriate therapeutic interventions will empower clients to find their path to recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family counseling, or a related field that qualifies for licensing.
  • Licensure as a Mental Health Professional (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of Texas is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with team members.
  • Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems is preferred.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience providing mental health counseling in a remote capacity.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
  • Previous work within a multi-disciplinary team setting is advantageous.
