Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Engage directly with clients to establish and pursue treatment goals that promote their wellness journey.
• Provide evidence-based therapy focusing on prevention and skill-building to enhance coping strategies.
• Develop, implement, and periodically review individualized treatment plans to reflect clients' progress and changing needs.
• Collaborate effectively with additional treatment providers and placement agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and regulations.
• Cultivate a manageable caseload while keeping thorough session notes reflecting clinical insights and client progress.
• Engage in regular team meetings to share insights, discuss challenges, and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
• Actively contribute to the nurturing of a positive environment and organizational culture, enhancing client and team experiences.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, social work, or a related field, with relevant clinical training.
• Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal, allowing for effective client and team interactions.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of applicable experience in mental health counseling is required, candidates with extensive backgrounds in community mental health services and familiarity with local resources will be given preference. Compensation and Benefits
