The Product Filing Analyst II is responsible for preparing, submitting, and maintaining insurance product filings across multiple states and lines of business. This role works with a high level of independence to ensure filings meet state requirements, are approved on time, and are implemented correctly. You will regularly partner with Product, Actuarial, Compliance, Underwriting, and IT teams to support new product launches and updates to existing programs.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare, submit, and manage rate, rule, and form filings across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of filings, including objections, revisions, withdrawals, and approvals.
  • Review state requirements and determine the appropriate filing approach.
  • Draft filing support materials, including memoranda, responses to regulators, and implementation guidance.
  • Respond to regulator questions and objections in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to implement approved filings.
  • Monitor bureau updates (ISO, NCCI) and assess impact to current programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of filings, including tracking logs, state exceptions, and supporting documentation.
  • Provide clear updates to stakeholders on filing status, timelines, and potential issues.
  • Support onboarding and training of new team members as needed.

What You'll Bring

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. 

Experience 

  • 3–5 years of experience in insurance product filings or a related role
  • Experience handling multi-state rate, rule, and form filings
  • Experience responding to regulator objections and information requests
  • Working knowledge of commercial insurance products, SERFF, state regulations, ISO, and NCCI

Skills & Competencies 

  • Able to manage filings across multiple lines of business with minimal oversight
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Organized with the ability to track and manage multiple filings at once
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication
  • Strong problem-solving skills and judgment
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and related tools
