National Roofing Contractor has an immediate opening available for a Roofing Account Manager within an assigned geographic territory – Florida.


The Roofing Account Manager is responsible for supporting the vision and mission of the company for sales, profit and market share within the territory. The focus of the NAM’s account penetration will be CAD’s (Consultants, Architects and Designers), Construction Managers, and End Users that are current customers or targeted prospects.

Key Metrics:

  • Evangelize the Corporate Mission Statement and the “Why” about our solutions. This is done through energizing presentations and provocative conversational meetings that solicit positive feedback and a “Can Do” attitude.
  • Arrange Lunch and Learns with CAD Community
  • Deep penetration into Named Accounts including detail mapping of each
  • Sets up C suite level meeting for HQ Executive staff to support and attend.
  • Establishes positive communication with HQ internal resources and provides a collaborative solution to customer problems.
  • Submits timely, accurate & complete sales reports and forecasts along with updating Sales Opportunities in our CRM system, along with schedules and activities.
  • Manages sales process from initial contact through design, turnover and construction execution of projects.
  • Delivers 100% budget and profit targets set by Executive Management
  • Develops and gains approval for the activity plan the NAM will follow
  • Understanding of the features and benefits and how to communicate to all levels
  • Participates in trade shows, events and events as required by management
  • Maintains key performance indicators for territory activity – Pipeline, meetings, forecast accuracy, new opportunities and budget achievement 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing or a related discipline preferred or related business or industry experience
  • Commercial Roofing Experience
  • Experience in outside sales representing B2B solutions and services in a territory
  • Fully qualified sales professional in the Sales Process to end users.
  • Has familiarization with Construction, Mechanical or Structural technologies.
  • Understands how to be a team player and act in the best interest of the company.
  • Must work well with our existing team

Other Requirements:

  • 25% travel
  • Desired home based location in East, West and Central Florida
  • Adequate home office environment for doing business
  • Microsoft Office, Power Point, Excel and Word along with MS Outlook
  • Customer Relationship Management Systems familiarity
