Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions via telehealth platforms, utilizing evidence-based modalities to address mental health concerns.
• Assess and diagnose clients through a variety of psychological assessments, interpreting results effectively to inform treatment strategies.
• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, establishing short- and long-term goals that address their specific psychological and emotional needs.
• Provide crisis intervention services, including suicide assessments and risk evaluations, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to critical situations.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to coordinate care and improve client outcomes.
• Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Contribute to the development of clinical policies and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training, workshops, and team meetings to stay abreast of best practices in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on clients facing mental health challenges as they navigate the detoxification process. You will engage with diverse populations and facilitate therapy for individuals and families confronting addiction, trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. A culturally competent approach is essential to effectively address the unique needs and circumstances of each client.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid and current LCSW license in the state of Virginia.
• At least two years of clinical experience in providing mental health services, with a strong focus on evidence-based practices.
• Proficiency in conducting psychological assessments and developing treatment plans based on client needs.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse client base, enhancing therapeutic outcomes.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, enabling you to navigate complex client scenarios with ease.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with addiction and recovery populations, particularly in a detox or inpatient setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for case management and documentation purposes.
• Knowledge of community resources and referral processes relevant to mental health and addiction recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

The competitive salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
