• Conduct thorough assessments of patients, identifying their emotional and mental health needs while developing individualized treatment plans that reflect these needs.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy, to enhance client well-being through targeted therapeutic strategies.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation that adheres to legal confidentiality standards and regulatory compliance, ensuring all patient interactions are properly recorded.
• Engage in collaborative efforts with a dedicated treatment team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to provide holistic care that addresses both physical and emotional health.
• Educate patients and families about mental health issues, coping strategies, and available resources to support their journey through grief and loss.
• Stay informed about the latest developments and research in mental health to continuously enhance therapeutic practices and patient care.

The primary focus of this role involves providing compassionate support to patients and families in the context of hospice care. You will be working with individuals facing serious illnesses and their loved ones, addressing emotional challenges such as grief, anxiety, and existential distress. Your expertise will help facilitate communication, coping strategies, and emotional healing during pivotal moments in their lives.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license within the state of Georgia is essential.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in mental health or hospice settings.
• Strong proficiency in solution-focused and evidence-based psychotherapy interventions is critical.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals alike.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills necessary for navigating complex emotional and psychological challenges.

Experience working in hospice or palliative care settings, while not mandatory, is highly valued and will enhance your capacity to support our patient population effectively. Familiarity with tools and platforms for teletherapy and remote patient engagement is a plus.

• Attractive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
