Key Responsibilities

• Create individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each client through comprehensive assessments and evaluations.
• Conduct therapeutic sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, employing evidence-based practices to promote healing and growth.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in accordance with legal standards and ethical guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client care, sharing insights and strategies that contribute to comprehensive treatment plans.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay abreast of advancements in mental health care and therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Solution Talk, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma-related issues. Your role will involve providing support to clients from various backgrounds, engaging empathetically to understand their unique journeys toward healing.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Kansas.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting.
• In-depth knowledge of legal and ethical standards in the counseling field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective engagement with a wide range of clients.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and relevant mental health applications.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples counseling, substance abuse, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
