This full-time remote position allows you to utilize your clinical expertise while providing vital support to clients in a hospice care setting. The ideal candidate will possess a deep commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals and families facing end-of-life challenges.

About the Organization

At Woodcrest Wellness Oasis, our mission is to deliver exceptional counseling services tailored to the unique needs of our clients. We are a virtual private practice focused on creating a supportive environment in which individuals, couples, and families can find healing and growth. Our multidisciplinary team is committed to fostering a larger healing community and building lasting therapeutic relationships. As we expand our reach into hospice care, we aim to ensure that every client receives the highest quality support during a crucial time in their lives.

Work Environment

The position is entirely remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your own well-equipped home office. You will have access to secure telehealth platforms designed to maintain confidentiality and safety for all clients. This flexibility provides a unique work-life balance, enabling you to enjoy autonomy in shaping your practice while also collaborating with a team of skilled professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality virtual counseling services to diverse clients facing a range of complex emotional and psychological challenges.
  • Conduct individual therapy sessions, focusing on issues such as grief, anxiety, depression, and family dynamics within the context of hospice care.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that align with each client’s preferences and therapeutic goals, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
  • Utilize telehealth platforms to conduct virtual therapy sessions, ensuring a secure and private environment for clients.
  • Continuously monitor and assess client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to promote optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate actively with a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to provide holistic support and referrals to additional resources when required.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on clients and their families dealing with the emotional complexities associated with hospice and end-of-life care. This role necessitates a compassionate approach, as you will support individuals navigating feelings of grief, loss, and transition while also helping families manage practical and emotional needs during this challenging time.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • An active LCSW license in the state of California.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical social work, with a preference for experience in hospice or palliative care settings.
  • Proficiency in using telehealth technologies and an understanding of medical terminology related to patient assessments.
  • Strong foundation in behavioral therapy and a commitment to client-centered treatment approaches.
  • A reliable home office setup, including high-speed internet, phone, and video conferencing capabilities.
Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with experience delivering virtual counseling services and a background in hospice care to ensure an empathetic approach to client needs. Candidates with additional training in grief counseling or therapy modalities pertinent to end-of-life issues will be especially competitive.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, with an annual compensation of $120,000 to $130,000. In addition to a lucrative salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • 401k plan with company match
  • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and Sick Time Pay
• Life Insurance and Profit Sharing options

At Woodcrest Wellness Oasis, we are committed to your professional development. We encourage ongoing training and offer opportunities for advancement within our organization. As you gain experience and build your practice, you may have access to leadership roles and specialized training in hospice care.

Why Join Our Team
