Coastal Light Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team as a Remote Detox Center Specialist. The Remote Detox Center Specialist role is designed to be fully remote, allowing for a flexible work arrangement that easily accommodates your schedule. • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Provide individual, group, or family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to address substance use and co-occurring disorders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for clients undergoing detoxification.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and interactions while adhering to organizational protocols.
• Engage in crisis management and intervention techniques to address clients in immediate need of support.
• Utilize our in-house platform for scheduling, billing, and administrative tasks, allowing you to focus on providing exemplary care without the burden of overhead costs.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to continually enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing substance use disorders in a detox setting. Through a trauma-informed lens, you will work with clients who are beginning their recovery journeys, providing them with essential support, resources, and therapeutic interventions that will foster resilience and promote lasting change.

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Current and active state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, substance use treatment, and crisis intervention strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage remote case management effectively and maintain a strong therapeutic alliance with clients.

• A minimum of two years' experience in a healthcare or mental health setting, particularly in substance use treatment or detox environments.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and other practice management software.
• Experience in conducting virtual therapy sessions.
• Proficiency in critical thinking and problem-solving skills for urgent clinical situations.
