Administrative Coordinator (Remote - Must Reside Near Eden Prairie, MN)Join Our Team

What You'll DoTransportation & Administrative Support
- Coordinate and manage transportation orders within company systems.
- Create, assign, and monitor shipment loads to ensure accurate and timely execution.
- Schedule pickup and delivery appointments with customers, carriers, and warehouse partners.
- Track shipments and provide status updates to customers and carriers.
- Enter shipment events and updates into transportation management systems.
- Process freight invoicing and ensure accurate documentation.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity across systems.
Customer Service & Communication
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and carriers.
- Respond promptly to inquiries through email, phone, and internal communication channels.
- Provide proactive updates regarding shipment status, delays, and service issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational challenges.
- Escalate complex issues following established procedures.
Data Accuracy & Compliance
- Review shipment information for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain transportation records in accordance with company procedures and service standards.
- Follow company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and customer requirements.
- Ensure all shipment activity is documented accurately and on time.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying and communicating potential process issues.
QualificationsRequired- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of customer service, administrative support, or coordination experience.
- Ability to work assigned evening and/or weekend schedules as needed.
- Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, operations, or other high-volume environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in a call center, customer support, or operations-focused role.
Work Environment
This role is primarily remote after training, offering flexibility while remaining connected to a collaborative team environment.
Location Requirement: Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Eden Prairie, MN, as occasional onsite attendance is required.
Training Schedule
- First 3 weeks: Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM (onsite)
- Final 2 weeks: Transition to assigned schedule while continuing onsite training and support
- After successful completion of training: Move to a remote work arrangement
- Employees are required to attend the office one day per month and may be asked to report onsite as needed for business purposes
Employees are also welcome to work from the office at any time if preferred.
Available Remote Schedules
Various evening and weekend schedules are available, including:
- 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- 4:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM
Specific schedule details will be discussed during the interview process.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Eden Prairie, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
