This position offers a remote work setting, allowing you the flexibility to provide care without commuting. You will be expected to maintain regular working hours Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required based on your patients' needs. • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to ascertain the needs of children and adolescents, using standardized tools and clinical interviews to inform treatment plans.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that consider developmental stages, family dynamics, and specific mental health concerns, ensuring they align with best practices.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support youth in managing their mental health challenges, including techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or play therapy.
• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at equipping parents and caregivers with the skills necessary to foster a nurturing environment.
• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, sharing insights to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support and intervention as necessary.
• Educate patients and families regarding mental health issues, treatment modalities, and local community resources, empowering them to engage in their care proactively.
• Maintain accurate documentation reflecting treatment activities and patient progress in compliance with both legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Engage in regular team meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development to remain informed about advancements in the field.

This role focuses on a client population encompassing children and adolescents facing a diverse range of mental health challenges. You will work with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders, providing vital support that fosters their emotional and psychological well-being.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution, ensuring a strong educational foundation.
• Valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW within the state of Washington, verifying your professional qualifications.
• Solid knowledge of childhood and adolescent mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic practices tailored to younger demographics.
• Experience delivering individual and family therapy to children and adolescents, demonstrating your skill level and dedication to this population.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with a compassionate, child-centered approach to therapy and treatment.
• A proven ability to establish trust and rapport with children, adolescents, and their families, fostering open communication.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications essential for your daily tasks.
