Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual counseling sessions to clients with a variety of mental health issues, leveraging evidence-based practices to address conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders.
  • Facilitate couples and family therapy sessions, addressing issues like relationship dynamics, communication barriers, and family conflict resolution.
  • Design and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect each clientโ€™s unique circumstances, incorporating measurable objectives and evidence-based intervention strategies.
  • Offer crisis intervention services to clients facing immediate mental health challenges, ensuring their safety and stabilization.
  • Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, empowering them with coping strategies and resources for additional support.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including assessment documentation, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcome measures, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines and legal requirements in the practice of counseling, ensuring client confidentiality and informed consent are maintained at all times.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role involves working with a wide array of clients, including children, adults, and families, each facing unique mental health issues. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • State licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is required.
