Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough client assessments and evaluations to identify mental health needs, concerns, and goals, utilizing standardized assessment tools and interviewing techniques.
• Provide individual counseling sessions to clients with a variety of mental health issues, leveraging evidence-based practices to address conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders.
• Facilitate couples and family therapy sessions, addressing issues like relationship dynamics, communication barriers, and family conflict resolution.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect each client’s unique circumstances, incorporating measurable objectives and evidence-based intervention strategies.
• Offer crisis intervention services to clients facing immediate mental health challenges, ensuring their safety and stabilization.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, empowering them with coping strategies and resources for additional support.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including assessment documentation, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcome measures, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines and legal requirements in the practice of counseling, ensuring client confidentiality and informed consent are maintained at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role involves working with a wide array of clients, including children, adults, and families, each facing unique mental health issues. Counselors will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, addressing a range of concerns from anxiety and depression to trauma responses and relationship challenges, fostering an inclusive and supportive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• State licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is required.
• Demonstrated clinical experience and expertise in providing therapeutic services through previous work or practicums.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to empathize and connect with clients.
• High ethical standards and professionalism in all interactions.
• Cultural sensitivity and competence to work effectively with a diverse clientele.

Preferred Experience

Experience working within outpatient settings and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care is preferred. Knowledge of clinical assessment tools and treatment planning methodologies will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
