Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized psychotherapy to patients grappling with mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role mainly involves working with patients in a hospice facility, many of whom may be navigating significant life transitions. You will play an essential role in providing emotional support and mental health care at a sensitive juncture of their lives, addressing psychological distress with compassion and professionalism.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in providing therapy and mental health services, preferably in hospice or similar settings.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong therapeutic relationships with patients and collaborative partnerships with healthcare professionals.
