This position is entirely remote, leveraging telehealth technology to reach clients. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to develop personalized treatment plans that cater to their individual needs.
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions using evidence-based therapies for individuals, couples, families, and groups, addressing a wide range of mental health disorders.
• Utilize techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy to create tailored therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to optimize client care and ensure comprehensive support.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, adhering strictly to legal and ethical standards, while also utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software proficiently.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training to remain abreast of the latest mental health research and practices.

You will predominantly work with underserved populations and individuals with limited access to mental health services, treating various issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your role is crucial in bridging the gap of care for clients who require support and guidance in navigating their mental health challenges.

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Active, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, ideally within a clinical setting.
• Familiarity with ethical and legal standards relevant to counseling practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with diverse client demographics.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.
• Proficiency in EMR software and other telehealth technologies utilized in clinical settings.

• Experience specializing in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment.
• Prior involvement in telehealth services is highly desirable and recognized as a valuable asset in our practice.
